SMART DNA THERAPY

STRENGHTENING 4 SKIN BARRIERS
FOR #MYPERFECTSKIN EFFECT

DISCOVER
SMART DNA THERAPY

SMART DNA THERAPY is a multi-level antioxidant therapy with safety and efficacy confirmed in clinical studies supporting the protection and repair of cell DNA, providing an immediate radiant and rejuvenated appearance of the skin by acting on 4 skin barriers. The therapy is intended for all skin types, including hyper-reactive and sensitive skin.

SMART DNA THERAPY
MULTI LEVEL THERAPY FOR PERFECT SKIN EFFECT
  • Multi leve antioxidant therapy strenghtening 4 skin barriers

    • MICROBIOLOGICAL BARRIER – restoration of physiological self-regulation function, modulation of the microbiome1
    • CHEMICAL BARRIER - regeneration and reconstruction of the hydrolipid barrier2
    • PHYSICAL BARRIER – – strengthening of skin photoresistance and strong antioxidant action3 with protection and restoration of cell DNA4
    • IMMUNE BARRIER – anti-inflammaging1,2 action limiting premature skin aging caused by chronic inflammation
  • The concept of the treatment is based on a unique combination of ferulic acid, peptides and TGF-β2 growth factors. The synergy of active ingredients strengthens skin barriers, protects and repairs skin cells DNA, and thanks to the peptide content, neutralizes free radicals, reducing the signs of photoaging.

MAIN INGREDIENTS
FERULIC ACID - protects the DNA of skin cells and repairs their damage caused by harmful external factors.

Reactions of active oxygen with sugar residues or nucleobases can lead to the formation of bonds between DNA strands, ultimately causing their breakage and cell death5. Ferulic acid triggers processes in fibroblasts that reduce the amount of reactive oxygen, thereby protecting the cell's DNA. It also reduces UV-induced cell cycle disruption and DNA damage by regulating gene expression6.

PEPTIDES - They express synergistic action with ferulic acid, including action against reactive forms of oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen and carbon.

PEPTIDE PROMOTER : ACETYL TETRAPEPTIDE-2 (V4S) - its synergy with ferulic acid has been demonstrated, among others, in action against reactive forms of oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen and carbon (ROS, RSS, RNS, RCS). Ultra-high antioxidant action compared to available forms of vitamin C was confirmed in the TEAC (Trolox Equivalent Antioxidant Capacity) study measuring the antioxidant capacity of the mixture of Ferulic Acid and Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2 with the standard - Trolox. High antioxidant power was also demonstrated in the spectrophotometric method showing the ability to neutralize the DPPH radical7.

HEKSAPEPTIDE ACETYL HEXAPEPTIDE-51 AMIDE increases gene expression, participates in processes such as cell proliferation and DNA repair. Activation of the DNA repair pathway imitating the action of FOXO3 by the hexapeptide was confirmed in the Host Cell Reactivation Assay study, conducted on epidermal keratinocytes. In vivo studies of the peptide also showed repair of DNA damage caused by UV radiation by significantly reducing the amount of pyrimidine dimers8.

TETRAPEPTIDE DIAMINOPROPIONOYL TRIPEPTIDE-33 supports the protection and repair of skin cell DNA. Protective activity was confirmed in both the Comet Assay and in vitro studies on human keratinocytes and fibroblasts exposed to a cytotoxic dose of sunlight. The peptide demonstrates the ability to repair DNA after direct irradiation of fibroblasts and inhibits the action of biomarkers of oxidative stress more effectively than carnosine9.

TGF-β2 GROWTH FACTOR - Stimulates the production of type I collagen – growth factor participates in the activation of the metabolic pathway leading to the production of type I collagen, without exhibiting photosensitizing properties.

AHA acids - (lactic, citric, malic) affect the skin keratinization process and the cohesion of corneocytes, thus slowing down the aging process10. Additionally, citric acid has a whitening effect and supports the action of antioxidants11.
